Dear householder,

The purpose of this letter is to inform you that a vehicle was damaged on St Helens Avenue, Flimby. This occurred between 00:00 and 01:00 on 8th February 2018.

Did you see or hear anything suspicious?  Your information could be extremely important.

In view of that we invite you to do the following:

  1. To contact the Police on 101 if you saw anything or anyone you considered suspicious around the time of the incident.

  1. To be alert for similar crimes and report any suspicious behaviour.
Finally, if we can be of any assistance whatsoever, please ring the above telephone number or contact any Police officer.
Here is some basic information on Crime Prevention:
Please make sure that all windows and doors, especially those on the ground floor, are shut and locked. If the window acts as an escape route in a fire situation then please make sure this is not compromised. In addition please ensure that all valuables especially handbags, cash and mobile phones are secured at night within your home and are not on view which would enable easy access to them for an intruder.
