Kendal Fire Station news

 

Kendal Fire Station is hosting a Young Firefighters training course for students from Kirkbie Kendal School for the next 8 weeks. This will culminate in a passing out parade with the head teacher and parents attending.

 

On Saturday 27 October, Kendal Fire Station will be facilitating an Emergency Service Open Day from 12:00 - 16:00hrs. Attendees will include Cumbria Police, Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service, Kendal Mountain Rescue, Bay Search and Rescue and North West Blood Bikes. The event will include a number of service demonstrations and community awareness.

 

Community activities include school visits to Natland and Windermere and Heartstart courses at Kendal College. Station visits by Kendal Army Cadets and a Family Fun Day at St Thomas School, Kendal have also been arranged.
