Information sent on behalf of Cumbria Neighbourhood Watch

Recent thefts in rural areas around North Cumbria have seen a van stolen from Brampton, a Quad Bike from Longtown and Caravans from storage sites and driveways near Sandysikes and Dalston.

The purpose of this message is simply to ask you to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity, including vehicle registrations to the Police or Crimestoppers.

Farms, and wider rural communities, have increasingly become the targets for criminals and in this respect please ensure that you take basic crime prevention measures to protect your property.

Crimestoppers - 100% Anonymous. Always - Speak up. Stay Safe - 080055511

Kind regards
