Cumbria Neighbourhood Watch Association (CNWA)
Cumbria Neighbourhood Watch Association (CNWA) is a registered charity, governed by a Board of Trustees, and represents the interests of Neighbourhood Watch members and members of other Watches throughout Cumbria. The High Sheriff of Cumbria acts as the President of the Association.
Cumbria Constabulary is committed in creating safer, stronger communities by working with local people to drive down crime and tackling the issues that matter most to them. We aim to do everything we can to ensure our communities are kept informed of what is going on in their area and through Cumbria Community Messaging they can have the latest information for their area at the touch of a button.
Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service
Creating Safe and Secure Communities, Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service contributes towards creating a safe and secure community within the county. The organisation strives, with our partners, to inform the people of Cumbria to help prevent fire and road related deaths and injuries.
Cumbria County Council
Cumbria County Council has long worked alongside Cumbria Neighbourhood Watch Association, supporting its work to help cut crime and see safer communities across the county. The new Community Messaging System is one of the ways in which we are supporting Neighbourhood Watch. We welcome the system as a tool to improve communications with residents on the issues that matter.
Age UK South Lakeland
Age UK South Lakeland is a local charity working with local older people to help them retain their independence and exercise real choice in their lives. Our neighbourhood alerts are all about keeping in touch with the charity and making sure you are aware of important issues affecting people over 50.
